Ceramic Wall Sculpture with 24ct Gold Leaf and Brass Suspension
''Helios Gingo'' is a limited-edition ceramic wall sculpture conceived and drawn by Andrzej Skrzypkowski, and brought into form in ceramic by Monika Skrzypkowska, produced through their joint studio.
Inspired by the symbolic beauty of the ginkgo leaf and the radiance of the sun, this artwork features a sculptural arrangement of leaves radiating across a circular ceramic disc with a diameter of 1100 mm. Selected leaves are adorned with 24ct gold, capturing light reminiscent of a solar flare.
Suspended using custom brass fittings, the 1100 mm ceramic disc slightly floats off the wall, casting shifting shadows that enhance its spatial presence.
