Star of the Seas

Sky Beyond the Clouds is a site-specific porcelain installation commissioned by ICART Miami for the Vitality Spa aboard Star of the Seas, Royal Caribbean's Icon Class vessel.

Inspired by the atmosphere above the clouds, the installation explores the subtle transition between blue, grey and platinum tones. Reflections, shadows and changing light create a calm visual rhythm that evolves as guests move through the space.

Developed through digital studies and material exploration, the composition was carefully integrated with the architecture of the spa, allowing the artwork to become part of the spatial experience rather than a separate decorative feature.

Handcrafted porcelain and precious metal finishes combine to capture the changing qualities of light, reinforcing the atmosphere of tranquillity and wellbeing within the interior.
