MAAP Studio Sculptural Porcelain for Architecture

MAAP Studio Sculptural Porcelain for Architecture

MAAP Studio creates sculptural porcelain installations for architectural environments. Working across interior architecture, spatial composition, and material process, the studio develops site-specific works that integrate directly with space, light, and surface. Each installation is composed of individually formed porcelain elements developed through a combination of digital design and hand-built ceramic process. Projects are defined by scale, rhythm, proportion, and placement, allowing sculptural systems to function as part of the architectural environment rather than as surface decoration. Installations are developed as modular compositions, enabling flexibility in configuration while maintaining material consistency and spatial coherence.

Monika Skrzypkowska

Monika leads the studio’s ceramic and material development, focusing on porcelain behaviour, surface quality, and refinement through iterative making processes.
She holds an MA in Sculpture & Ceramics and continues an ongoing material-led exploration through both studio production and independent artistic practice.

Andrzej Skrzypkowski

Andrzej focuses on spatial composition, sculptural systems, and the relationship between structure, rhythm, and architectural space.
He holds an MA in Spatial Design & Sculpture, with an additional technical background in marine engineering that informs the studio’s approach to scale, structure, and integration within architectural environments.

Studio

Alongside the studio’s architectural work, both founders maintain independent artistic practices that continue to inform MAAP Studio's material and spatial language.
