Ginkgo – Porcelain Wall Sculpture Installation

 Ginkgo is a porcelain wall sculpture installation composed of ten hand-formed porcelain petals inspired by the delicate form of the ginkgo leaf.

Each sculptural element is shaped in translucent porcelain and left unglazed, revealing a soft satin-matte white surface and fine textural details. One petal is finished with 24 ct gold lustre, introducing a warm reflective accent within the composition.

The petals vary in scale and can be arranged to create a quiet, balanced installation that brings subtle depth and movement to the wall.

 Mounted using custom brass suspension fittings, the porcelain elements sit slightly away from the wall. This subtle offset allows light to move across the sculptural surfaces, casting gentle shadows that emphasize the layered forms.
