Forgotten Fields Black Patinated Copper Wall Sculpture
“Forgotten Fields” is a sculptural copper relief shaped through processes of patination, soft erosion, and controlled oxidation. Its dark, atmospheric surface carries subtle shifts of light and texture, suggesting the remnants of landscapes altered by time.
Designed for architectural settings, the piece functions as a quiet focal point neither ornamental nor expressive, but calmly present. Its tectonic surface reads like an archaeological fragment: layered, weathered, and refined.
Made by hand in the studio near the northern coast, the work reflects Andrzej Skrzypkowski focus on material intelligence and sculptural restraint. “Forgotten Fields” is conceived as an artefact for interior architecture bringing depth, shadow, and a sense of meditative stillness to curated private or hospitality spaces
