Working with elemental materials and processes of transformation, Monika shapes raw matter into forms that carry rhythm and presence. Familiar motifs evolve through repetition, giving each piece its own distinct identity. With a Master of Arts in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Monika’s practice moves fluidly between contemporary art and spatial design. She creates large-scale commissions and unique works conceived to integrate seamlessly within architectural and private environments—bringing depth, texture, and atmosphere to every space.
Andrew (Andrzej) Skrzypkowski

Andrzej Skrzypkowski is a UK-based multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture, drawing, and spatial design. He holds a Master of Arts in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Poland, where he specialized in the intersection of sculpture and architecture, exploring the relationship between form, space, and public environments. He has also collaborated with Dutch artists in Amsterdam, developing a strong understanding of material, form, and spatial engagement.
His work celebrates life’s beauty and offers a quiet refuge from everyday worries. Through abstract shapes and flowing forms, he invites viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect — both with the world around them and with themselves.
Andrzej’s practice emphasizes how sculpture interacts with architectural and public space. He carefully considers context, environment, and social or historical surroundings, combining conceptual exploration with technical execution — from model-making to visualizing and realizing projects in real-world settings.
His recent sculptural work explores emotional and physical balance through form — moving between weight and openness, tension and stillness. These are quiet experiences shaped through attentive hands: simple, honest expressions of presence and transformation.
Together, Monika and Andrew combine their creative visions at Maap Studio to develop sculptural pieces that engage with their environment—transforming private and public spaces with works that invite both presence and contemplation.
