Returns and Refunds

Return Policy

Final Sale and Made-to-Order Items:

  • All orders become final upon payment. Please make your selections carefully, as all our pieces are made to order. We do not offer refunds for changes of mind, incorrect decisions, or any other reason not related to a defect in the product.

  • Refunds and exchanges are not provided unless the item is confirmed to be defective or fails to fulfill its intended technical function.

Change of Mind:

  • Should you change your mind, please note that your full payment (including any deposit) is non-refundable.

  • Refunds are not offered for changes of mind, but if the artwork does not fulfill its technical function, a resolution may be considered.

Cancellations:

  • To cancel an order, you must contact us within 24 hours of purchase. After this time, cancellations will not be accepted for online orders or written purchase orders.

  • Cancellation requests will only be considered for defective items. However, please note that we do not accept returns for any used or installed artworks unless installation was necessary to confirm the defect.

Ceramic Artwork Finish:

  • Refunds or exchanges are not accepted for dissatisfaction with the finish, color, glaze, specks, or imperfections in handmade ceramics.

  • All products are handmade, and slight imperfections are natural. Pieces are sold “as is,” and any imperfections should be expected and accepted as part of the unique handmade process.

Exchanges:

  • Exchanges are not accepted for any orders.

International Returns:

  • Maap Studio does not accept responsibility for return postage costs or for items lost, stolen, or damaged during transit.

  • We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. If a customs declaration form is required, ensure that you mark the returned item correctly as a "Returned Item" to avoid additional customs fees. Any customs fees incurred due to incorrect declaration may be passed onto the customer and may delay the returns process.

  • If you are unsure how to fill out the customs form, please consult the relevant customs or post department before returning the item.

Damages Policy:

  • If a piece arrives damaged (e.g., cracked or chipped), please contact us within 24 hours with images of the damaged box and product.

  • Damages or shortages will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If we approve a return, the item must be returned to our studio in its original condition and packaging.

  • If damage occurs during transit due to inadequate packaging or improper handling, you will be responsible for all associated costs. Payment for the return will be due within 48 hours of notification.

Refunds:

  • Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified via email about the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please note that processing may take several business days.

  • If you have not received your refund yet, check your bank account, and then contact your credit card company as it may take some time to post. If you still haven’t received it, please contact us at info@maapstudio.com.
