100% handmade. Due to the nature of my tiles, a certain amount of variation in colour, shading, surface and texture are to be expected.

All my ceramic wall art are high fired and therefore durable and are suitable for indoor, outdoor, bathroom and kitchen installations. Multiples can be ordered, please contact me for more information.

Ceramic Wall Art tiles from our studio are made of porcelain or stoneware. The clay is rolled out, cut into squares or shapes. After the clay has solidified, the tiles are carved using a clay carving tools. The resulting work is very sculptural. Some simpler models like this are being processed into a plaster mould. Then multiple tiles are pressed by hand from this mould. After ceramic wall art  have dried slowly, they are fired in a bisque kiln to 1,000 degrees Celsius (1900 degrees Fahrenheit). After the bisque firing, I add the colour by hand painting the tiles with glazes. Ceramic wall art are then fired to a temperature of 1220 degrees Celsius (2140 degrees Fahrenheit).

I welcome custom orders and work closely with homeowners and designers to create unique works of art.
